At www.automatedgenealogy.com you can see this family in 1901:
District:       TT SASKATCHEWAN (#205)
Subdistrict:        Duck Lake S Page 2

This says Ernestine was b. 23 Dec 1876, France, and arrived to Canada in 1893.

- shows some children born to them. Ernestine's name is spelt as Blondel or Blondet in these records, and at one point as Marie Josephine Ernestine Blondel which was probably her full baptismal name.

- you might try contacting the Duck Lake Historical Museum Society to see if they have any further info, as the family seem to have been in that area in 1901.

To find Ernestine's birth record in France you really need to know where in France she came from. I cannot seem to find other Blondels in the area.
