I'm researaching the Olivier DeQuimont Bastien (1803) family who left Quebec and moved into the Illinois area around 1860. Olivier married Margaritte Duclos. The family origin is French from the Poitou-Charentes region, I believe but cannot find them in any Canadian records on line. Any info or help in digging further would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
