I am writing because I am hoping we can help one another find the information we are both looking for. My great-great grandparents are Arthur Mercier and Maria Cayer... this is the information that I have:
Arthur's parents: Cleophas Mercier b. 09 Nov 1849
Catherine Gagne b. 18 Jul 1852
Cleophas' parents: Pierre Mercier b. ???
Marguerite Carron b. ???
[this is where I would love help with any information tracing the Mercier surname as back as I can, hopefully to France]

Adelia Letellier, b. 28 Feb 1897

And my grandfather, Maurice Joseph Mercier, b. 14 Feb 1926.
He married: Therese Martha Lariviere, b. 12 Jun 1923.
Together they had 9 children:

Ralph Joseph Mercier, b. 24 Nov 1945
Annette Mercier, b. 31 Oct 1946
Priscilla M. Mercier, b. 05 Mar 1948
Lucille Mercier, b. 21 Sep 1949
Lorraine Mercier, b. 21 Sep 1949
(Lucille & Lorraine are twins)
Raymond Mercier, b. 21 Dec 1950
Diane Marie Mercier, b. 4 Jun 1954
Ronald Brian Mercier, b. 10 Jun 1962
Ronald Brian Mercier is my father, my mother's name is Heather Jean [Churchill], b. 27 Nov 1962; my name is Joshua Allen Mercier, b. 30 May 1981, and my sister's name is Bobbie Jo [Mercier], b. 07 Aug 1979.
I hope this information helps, and I have even more (if you'd like) about my aunts, uncles, and cousins. If you have any information, especially about Pierre Mercier or Marguerite Carron (also seen as Caron, now that I think about it), I would love any help :)
