THANK YOU! Yes, you found the right family. I have copies of the census reports for 1860, 1870, and 1880 and have tracked the family that way.

As to whether I have anything on Joseph's death, sorry, nothing. I have searched every conceivable place trying to find when he died, but without success. The only reason I know he died sometime between 1880 and 1890 is because Clara gets remarried to a Patrick Finn in St. Louis, Missouri. She is buried in St. Louis under the name Finn. I have absolutely no idea when Joseph died or where he is buried! It has been a source of frustration, I can tell you! I have sent out requests to the St. Louis Library, but they were unable to find anything either. I still have to track down Clara and Patrick's marriage license and then maybe I will get a little closer to an exact year for Joseph's death.

Thanks again for assisting me to locate my family!!!!

I had seen Clara on the Castle Garden site on the Monmouth, but since I am rather new at genealogy I was only punching in her name, which of course only popped her up! This time I only put in the last name and was able to see the family she came over with! Thank you a million times for that!!!!!

Jennifer
