John France b. c1822 Malinda Maynard b. c1825 of Pike Co., KY Issue: Allen c1846, Elizabeth c1847, Susannah c1850, William c1852, Charity c1853, James c1855, Moses c1858, Bud 1860 (Robert), George, Tempa (not sure what the mane is), John W., & Marcus.
I have quite a bit on the FRANCE line but things are real confusing. I believe he is the half older brother that I came through, who is William Andrew FRANCIS. Some people have him married to a Elizabeth HOPKINS who I think he was married, too because we are claiming some of her kids to be ours. I believe only George & Amanda was hers & then he maarried a Elizabeth PACK & had the other kids as she had 14 kids. She could of been claiming his 1st 2 or some of hers died. Some say Hopkins went & married someone else so they would of had to get a div. which would explain why George was not with them in 1860, in Lawrence Co.,KY & showed up with them in 1870. (More to this but to hard to put it here) Either it is same Andrew Or 2 different ones. Could anyone help me with this?
His other kids are Marion R. c1855, Andrew c1856, Joseph c1860, Mary B. Catherine c1863 (these might even be 2 different people, Lincoln I.c1866, Lucy B. c1868, William c1870, Mary J. b. Sep 1873,Dicy b. 17 Apr 1874, Missouri c1877, Martha ,Melissa c 1884 all of these are from Lawrence Co., KY.
William H. France & mother, Delila Quillen (Gibson ?)m 18 Apr 1929 Pike Co., KY. along with Elizabeth, & CHarity as their kids, too. An unknown indian women is supose to be the mother of William H Jr. c1817, John c1822, Chole c 1825, James b 1826, & Elijah c 1828.
If any one knows anyone of these people I would like to hear from you & trade info. I have so much more than this. Thanks!
