Bon Jour! Merci. I thank you for writing to me about the names. I got a reply that gave me just about every thing I wanted and like you said they were right there from particular they are in the Gaspe region. My great grandmother as a child almost got stuck out on Perce rock I believe low tide was ending.... I haven't been able to put the name of the rock with our stories until just now.I have not found out if these are indian names as well as french ... but would like to. Catherine married a full blood chippewa man in you know about the canadian indians at all? I have not heard the name Bolduc...if I run into it in my search I will notify you...let me know if you know about the indians of the GAspe area.
Are you related to William France or Mary Loiselle?
OUr census reports list CAnadian French...
again thanks for the reply
