I'm looking for any info concerning my father born 1900 in Marian,Indiana, under name Burdette William Cohn or Cohen or Kohn. Mothers name Rose, fathers name unknown. His father died when my father was very young. His mother married again to a Mr.? France and moved to Canton, Ohio. Father took the France name at age 12, [they were orthodox Jews--No pork etc.]he had siblings both Cohn and France. Parents and 2 or 3 siblings were killed in buggy/train accident when my father was 16 (1916)He had one 1 sister but lost contact soon after the parents deaths. Their are death records for Rose, Arthur, Harold and Helen listed with Huron county at about the right year but can't find out anything further.
If this rings in anyones bell please contact me as I have come up against a big brick wall with my Father's family.
Anything would be appriated.
