Jean Raprellet, cir 1550 Dept. Nord, France

I am currently working on compiling my family tree. I have discovered a few of my family lines that go back into France and I am having very little luck with obtaining information on these lines. I will post each line as a seperate post to try to keep thing clear.

number two;

Jean Raparellet (alternate spellings include De Rappeliette, Ralje, Relyea) born cir 1550 in Dept. Nord of France (sometimes listed as the Spanish Netherlands?) His son was Joris Jansen De Rapalye born april 28, 1604 in Valcieenes, Dept. Nord, France, he married Catalina Jeronymus Trico who was born in the Province of Rocelle France cir 1605.

If anyone out there has information on the ancestors for Jean Raparellet I would love to hear from them! I have one information sheet that claims that the family "was well established in France as far back as the tenth century". I am hoping to find the data for the years between then and the 1550 date that I have on Joris Jansen De Rapalye.

Thank you in advance for any and all help on this one.

Please reply directly to me at the e-mail addresses below whenever possible as I am new to this and don't always remember to check my forums for posts. <g>

Thank you once again.

Anita Louise Relyea Stoddard
