I am seeking information on Henrie Emberie (Embry). It is believed that he was a french huguenot fleeing from france, possibly the Cambrai, Picardy or Aude areas in the year 1635. He sailed from England to Virginia.

I would be most grateful for any information. I've been running my head up against this wall for over a year now with only vague hints, but no real information.

References Hotten, John Camden. "The Original Lists of persons of Quality: Emmigrants: Religious Exiles: Political Rebels..." Genealogical Publishing Co, 1974, p. 96 and Tepper, Michael

Passengers to America: A consolidation of Ship Passenger List from New England Historical and Genealogical Register" Genealogical Publishing Co. p89 list Henrie's age as 20 years when arriving to Virginia in 1635. He was reported as coming from Gravesend, England (this may have been the point of departure).

America DEPARTED June 23, 1635 London for VA.
