I have found out that his name was Darius France. He was born Jan. 1, 1876 in Indiana and died Sept. 26, 1944 in California. His parents were born in Ohio. Still looking for relatives and I know he had a son, Herbert, from his first marriage to Ida. They are all listed on the 1920 Census for Acton, California.

Margie
