Don't know if this is any of your family or not, but here's an eBay listing I found for a France family Bible - it's made it's way to Oregon, but the family was in MO is the 1800's. Item number: 3580934862 (just type the numbers in over at eBay in the search box and it'll take you to it. No, I'm not the seller, just happened across it and came here to see if there were any France family in MO. Bad news: $49.99. Hopefully it won't sell and they'll relist it with a lower price - I think that's high for a Bible in not so good condition, but it could be invaluable to the family.

An Awesome old Bible from the late 1800's. The only date I find is 1881. Bible is Hardbound. Leather w gold emboss. 1silver latche, one is missing. The prints in this book are phenominal. They are "Illustrative engravings on steel". There is some color print as shown. There is some France family History w/dates of birth and Death. 1836 -Shepard terreal France in Balio cty. MO Married Katherine Ellis in 1868 Children: Minnie Florance 1871 Mary Miranda 1876 Wilbur King 1874 or 78 (scribbled) Nellie Catherine 1880 Doroty Virginia 1883 Nellie married J.O. Lewis 10/04/1900 Children: Calvin 09/22/1902 Dorothy 08/14/1905 Mary Married E.H. Jory January 1910 Children: Eldon Earl Wilbur Kenneth Florance Catherine Wilbur King married Ella Bunch 09/09/1913 Children: Wilbur King Jack pleasant Dorothy Virginia Married T. G. Donnal 07/31/1928 Also a coupla deaths listed. I do not promise spelling and exact dates as some are hard to read. I hope this helps each of you who have asked about this great bible. Also as I opened it this last time the cover started to tear away from the back. The book overall is solid. Some looseness in both front and back covers. There are tears randomly found in text. Also minor water damage. Water damage does not go into text. It is just on the first few pages. Also contains a commentary by Rev. Robert Jamieson D.D.
