Unfortunately the death record came from a typed/printed register. I gave you all the info that was printed. Perhaps the state has a more detailed death record. You might try posting on the Erie County Genforum asking for an Obituary look up.
Since Charles enlisted in the military in Baltimore in 1902, he was probably already living there. There is probably a Baltimore city directory for that time. If you post to the Baltimore County Genforum, you may get a kind person to look for him in that time period. It may give you more information about his occupation (agent), and it may show other adult household members.
My father had a large family by his first wife in the early 1900s. They had little money, but they took a cottage at the Jersey shore in the summer. Fort Hancock is on Sandy Hook which is close to NY City. Rose and her family may have spent some time at the shore. Charles may have spent off-time in NY. They may have been married before he was discharged.
