In my travels, I see family photos
lost in antique stores. I think this is sad
and I feel a sense of obligation to try and
return them to their rightful families.
So, I have set up this website to do just that.
All of the photos I buy have names and
dates or places on them.
Before I list a photo on the site,
I try to contact any family members
that might be doing research, so they
can have first shot at the photographs.
Recently I acquired a pair of flawless tintype photos, of the Civil War Era,
still mounted in their paper frames. They are of:
Marcella (Gove) Francisco
and Newton O. Francisco
