Do you know the location of the John M. Franck home ? Was it Onslow or Jones county ? What about Edward Franck who married Leah Probart ? Where did he live ? If I'm not mistaken, Leah also married Waitstill Avery and that family connects to the Howards in Onslow Co.,NC. Any ideas on that ? Do you know where Jenkins or Cohorn swamps are ? Please read these deeds from Onslow co.,NC. I'm trying to locate the cemetary mentioned below. THANKS SO MUCH .

Nov.2,1832----James G. Rowe of Onslow sold for 2000 dollars to John M. Francks of Jones Co.,NC ,all that property which was willed me by my father, Gaines Rowe, deceased, in Onslow Co., NC on Jenkins Swamp at land of Josiah Cox's heirs, to Wallace's patent, land of Williams Humphrey which he bought of Lott S. Humphrey, land of heirs of John Barrow and the 40 acres sold by my father to Frederick Askew, along Nathan Askews line;also the land my father bought of Margaret Cox, exr. of Josiah Cox, Jan. 19, 1813, also all my interest in 100 acres patented by William Shackleford and undivided by me and the heirs of Josiah Cox which James Shackleford made deed for to my father. Tests: T.Battle, John Little.

John M. Francks of Jones Co.,NC released to James G. Rowe one acre which is the burying ground of the plantation given to said James G. Rowe by his father, Gaines Rowe. Nov. 3, 1832 Tests: T. Battle, John Little.

Jan.1,1836---Nathan Sylvester to Bryan Barry for 1000 dollars sold 111 acres adjoining John M.Francks, formerly the land of James G. Rowe, Sarah Barrow, and Cohorn Swamp. Tests: Thomas Barrow, Bazel M.Barry.

Feb.10, 1838--Bryan Barry sold to Edward Francks for 1000 dollars 111 acres adjoining John M.Francks ( formerly the land of James G.Rowe ) , Sarah Ann Barrow and Cohorn Swamp. Tests: A. and James Barry.
