My wife's mother was a Franck(e) and we have some history going back to 1760's in Danzig (Gdansk). I don't have any records of an Elijah or Elizabeth, but Gabrial and his sons - Siegmund, Louis, Christoph, George Friedrich, Ernst, Wilhelm and George August - settled between Philadelphia and Richmond.
