Thank you for your response to our search for Wilhelm Franck. Born in Germany 1838, Immigrated to Illinois, then to Davenport, Iowa. I was born in Davenport, Iowa, a year later my family moved to Illinois, now all I need to do is go to Germany, and I will have reversed the path of Wilhelm Franck. I do find it interesting that the Wilhelm Franck that I found burried in Jackson County, Iowa has the same dates as your Wilhelm Franck 1838 - 1908.
It is further interesting that they were both born in Holstein Germany and Immigrated to Davenport Iowa. Perhaps they are brothers or cousins ?? Who did your Wilhelm Franck marry ? Did he have brothers who Immigrated to Iowa ? Chicago is relativly a short distance from Davenport. Where is your Wilhelm Franck buried ?
It would be helpful to solve this interesting puzzle.
Thanks for your help. Bonnie
