Re: Pennsylvania Franck history

In Reply to: Pennsylvania Franck history by Francis Franck of 140

David Earl (La)Franck is my wife's great-great grandfather. In tracing the Family Lineage we have ran into a brick wall in the fact that most of the records in Honesdale, PA. were destroyed in fire. From our understanding the Franck family immigrated to the U.S. just prior to his birth from France. David died in 1913 and is buried in the Grafton, NE. cemetery. Josephine, his wife, died 1879. It is through David's son Augustus and his second wife Rosina Krause that our connection to David is made.
I hope this information is helpful, please let us know. Ray & Robin Garner
