Good evening.

I am not at all convinced that I'm on the right lines here, but would be glad to know whether you have details of the offspring of Charles and Maria Hunt. My great-grandfather, Charles Hunt, was apparantly born in Paddington or thereabouts in the mid-1820s, but it looks as though a first marriage failed, as he didn't marry my great-grandmother until 1891, a full twenty-five years after the birth of their first child. The marriage certificate gives my great-great-grandfather's name and occupation as Charles Hunt deceased, Painter. I'd appreciate any thoughts you might have. Incidentally, speaking as an organist, are you connected to the great composer Cesar Franck?!

Regards,

Colin Hunt.
