The following information comes from Mildred Hall through Lillian Francy (my Mother).

William T. Francy came from Ireland to the United States as a young man, worked until he had enought money to bring his sister Margaret (Maggie) here too. (The obituary states that he also left one brother and one sister in Ireland)

No knowledge of how they got to Illinois, but they met a family by the name of Thomas who had two children Jane and James. Jane married William Francy and her brother James married Margaret (Maggie) Francy, that made their children double cousins.

When Jane Thomas was small her mother Anna Caldwell Thomas died. Jane lived with an Aunt for eight to ten years, then lived with Silas Smith family. The Smith family has a daughter by the name of Mame. Mame and Jane became very close friends.

The Thomas family all lived around Webber Kansas and Superior Nebraska.

I have a picture of William T. and Jane (Thomas) Francy I'd be willing to share. I don't believe my mother has any more information. By the way my dad is Dennis Ross, third child of Herbert David Francy.

Also, the information we have dates William's death on April 12, 1915. I'll ask mother where she received this information.

I think this makes us second cousins.

Diane
