My great grandfather was Carl Heinrich Frankenstein who married Augusta Liermann at Ironridge, WI on Feb 21, 1878. They moved to Spink County, South Dakota in 1884 with sons William (1878-1965), Edwin (1881-1948), Franklin (1883-1937), where near Crandon, SD, Lydia (1885-1906), Carl A. (1887-1951), and Wesley (1892-1937) were born. Wesley married Elsie Jahnke in 1917 in Brookside, WI but they lived their married lives near Crandon, SD. They had two sons: LeRoy who lives in MSP, and my late father Willis. I am a farmer in the area southeast of Redfield where all five of Carl Heinrich's boys had been farmers.
