Dear Bob,
I came across your post and realized you must be a distant cousin. Your grandmother and my great grandmother were sisters. I recognized your last name and remember my grandmother communicating with her aunt in CA, around the time Stella (my great grandma) had a stroke. We have some of the history and some of the folk lore on the von Frankensteins (Frederick and Bertha). My aunt in GA has a lot of it and she has been to the castle in Germany. It's been a long time since your post so I don't know if your still interested in communicating so I will close and await your responce.
Your Cuz?-- Shari
PS- Are you named after your father? As I thought grandma said her cousin was named Bob (your father?), however that's been a long time ago and my memory maybe playing tricks.
