Barbara, I am a descendant of William Frankland through my father's family. William was my great, great, great, grandfather, borm 1801.
He married Martha Kirk on July 17 1826. thier son Robinson was actually called Robinson George. I have a lot of information as I have traced the family back to about1766.
There was still a direct descendant, also called William, still living in the family house in Helperby, that shows on the first census returns,in 1998. He died later that year.email address for further info:- peacockhj62.totalise.co.uk
