My wife's ancestors were Franklands from that area. They were apparently merchants who travelled extensively--we have a record of Thomas Frankland being in Wexford, Ireland prior to coming to America in the early 1800's. We have not been able to make good connections with the Franklands prior to that time, and would be interested in hearing from you if you have some information. E-mail OSizemore@AOL.COM
