For fairly interesting information in the form of a family history try "Memoirs of the House of Cromwell" by Noble. The copy I had was sent to my local library but I had to read it there "under supervision" as the book was so old. I assume you are in the USA and you may not be able to find the book. If you cannot access it I will send you a private e-mail with an attachment with the information I have from the book.
