Hazel- Hi!
I have Joana [Joannah] (Franklin) Estabrooks in my database. She is daughter of John (b.1683) and Ruth (Wilson) Franklin, and granddaughter of James (b.1650) and Eunice (Barnes?) Franklin. Her grandfather James married secondly Elizabeth Hammond. Her father was married to Ruth Wilson, 6 May 1703, in Rehoboth, Bristol county, Mass.; and it seems that her father remarried to a Hannah Record after Ruth (Wilson) died. I do not have Ruth's parent's names at this point. John had up to 11 children with Ruth, including an older Joannah who died young; and 3 with Hannah. Joannah Franklin was born 27 July 1721, in Swansea, Bristol county, Massachusetts, and is found in the vital records for Swansea, which I copied from the microfiche myself. There is an email group I have of fellow descendants of James and Eunice Franklin, and I would love to include you in the group, if you're interested. Just let me know! You can meet your cousins! I descend through James and Eunice's son James who married Martha Ormsby.
