I am looking for anyone who might have information on the parents of Josiah (brn abt 1803), John (birth date unknown), David (brn abt 1818) and Mark F. Franklin (brn abt 1806). This family moved from Virginia to Tennessee. Josiah died in McNairy County, Tennessee in 1877. I have a copy of his will. I also have marriage certificates and such on some of his brothers. Don't know what happened to the family, but WIlliam Coleman Franklin moved on to Arkansas, and he was there when Josiah died.
Josiah married Frances Phillips. They had the following children. Martha Ann Franklin, Elizabeth, Harriet, William Coleman, James Francis, Josiah, John N., Catharine, and Ben.
I would love to hear from anyone else that is researching this family. I am willing to share any and all of my information with anyone related.
