Seeking descendants of this Irish Catholic family of Franklins:

John Franklin, b. Ireland c.1810, d. Pittsburgh area Apr 19, 1882, married Bridget Hickey, b. Ireland c.1817, d. Pittsburgh area Aug 1874; they lived in Bridgewater Township NJ in 1850, Piscataway NJ in 1860, and Temperanceville (now part of Pittsburgh) PA in 1870.

Hoping to trace descendants of their children:

Mary Elizabeth Franklin Donovan, b. NJ c.1841, d.1874, Dravosburg PA

Benjamin Franklin, b. NJ c.1843, last known to be a railroad foreman in the Pittsburgh area 1870

Francis Patrick (Frank) Franklin, b. Westfield NJ Mar 27, 1845, left the Pittsburgh area to work on the railroads somewhere in the western USA

John Henry Franklin, b. Elizabethtown NJ May 9, 1847, known to be a railroad laborer in the Pittsburgh area 1870; by 1880 he is in San Jose, CA and is last found there widowed in 1910, wife Mary having died there in 1906 and buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in San Jose, CA.

Andrew Franklin, b. NJ c.1850, died in Pittsburgh April 14, 1884

Thomas Franklin, b. NJ c.1852, left the Pittsburgh area to work on the railroads somewhere in the western USA

Catherine/Katherine Franklin Duffy, b. NJ c.1855, died in Pittsburgh Aug 22, 1910

William Franklin, b. c1860 NJ or PA c.1858
