In the name of God Amen,
I Joshua Arnold of the state of S. Carolina & Laurens County being through the abundant mercy & goodness of God tho weak in body, yet of a sound & perfect understanding & memory, do Constitute this my last will & testament & desire it may be received by all as such: first I most humbly bequeath my soul to God my maker, beseeching his most gracious acceptance of it,through the all sufficient merits & meditations of my most Compassinate redeemer, Jesus Christ who gave himselt tto be an attonement for my sins & is able to save to the uttermost all that come unto God by him, Seeing he ever livith to make intersession for them,who I trust will not reject me a returning penetant sinner when I come to him for mercy, in this hope and confidence I render up my soul with comfort humbly beseeching the most blessed and glorious trinity one god most holy most mercefull.... and graicous to prepair for the time time of my dissolution and then to tahe me to himself into that peace and rest and Incomparible felicity which he has prepared for all that love and fear his holy name amen.Blessed be God .I give my body to the Earth from whence it was taken in full assurance of its resurrection from thence at the last day.As for my burial I desire it may be decent without pomp or State at the discretion of my dear wife and my Executors hereafter named who I doubt not will manage it with all requisite prudence.As to my worldly Estate, I will and positively order that all my debts be paid first,I give to my dear and loving wife Leanna Arnall for the term of her life all and singular my real and personal Estate , and after her death to my only daughter Martha Arnall and her heirs and assignfor ever and if she die before her mother and without issue then two hundred acres of land where on I now live, I give to Joshua Millener with all and singular my personal Estate, then two hundred acres of land Adjoining whereon I live and two hundred acres of land lying Abervel County to be Equally divided between Joshua Arnall and Joshua Franks, the land left to Joshua Arnall

and Joshua Franks to be divided to best advantage to both.I do here by Constitute and appoint Charles Smith and Samuel Franks to be Exectors of this my last will and Testament.I witness where of I have hereunto set my hand and seal the fifth Day of March in the year of our lord 1792...
