William R. Frantz b. 12 Nov 1885, d. 24 Feb 1924;I have his Obit. which reads:
W. R. Frantz, of Troutville, Dead.
Native of Henderson Twp., Dropped Dead of Heart Trouble while working.
Throwing his hands into the air with a cry as he was stricken by an attack of the heart trouble while working in a WPA store quarry near Rockton,William R. Frantz, of Troutville, collapsed Tuesday and was dead when fellow workmen reached his side.
Dr. E. S. Erhard, coroner for clearfiled County, viewed the body and said death was due to a heart attack.
The deceased was born in Henderson Twp., near Kramer, Nov. 12, 1885, the son of Robert and Mary Swartz Frantz.He was united in marriage Jan. 6, 1906, with Miss Pearl King, of Reynoldsville, who survives him along with the following sons and daughters:Charles, Mrs. Bertha Salada, Walter, Mrs. Sarabell Price, and Bessie, all of Troutville, and Mrs. Margaret Cyring, of St. Paul, Minn. Two sons preceded him in death.
Pearl E. King, b. 21 May 1891, d. 05 Nov 1961.I have her Obit. and it reads as follows:
Funeral services will be held in Troutville Wednesday for Mrs. Pearl E. Frantz, of Punxsutawney R. D. 3, who died Sunday morning in the Maple Avenue Hospital in DuBois following a lengthy illness.She was 70 years old.
Born May 21, 1891, in Patton, a daughter of John and Elisabeth Christ King, she was married in 1906 to William R. Frantz.Mrs. Frantz was a member of the United Brethren Church in Troutville.
Surviving are four daughters and a son, Mrs. Dorsey Salada, of Wexford; Mrs. John Dyring of Hornell, N.Y., Mrs. Dwight Brocious, of Sykesville; Mrs. Arman Bonante and Walter Frantz of Punxsutawney R. D. 3.She leaves also 41 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and a sister and brother, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, of Marina, Calif., and William King of Apollo.
Friends will be received in the Eugene Smith Funeral Home in Reynoldsville after 7 o'clock tonight and until 11:30 am. Wednesday when the body will be taken to the U. B. Church in Troutville.Funeral services will be held in the church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. John L. Rauch will be officate and interment will be in the Reformed Cemetery in Troutville.
