My mother is still living. She is 90 and was the baby of the family. She knows nothing about her fathers family. She only knows he came from Berlin and he was a twin but the twin died at birth or shortly after. He and her mother came over on a boat and were married in New York City. They then settled in Erie. Her mother died pregnant with her 19th child. Only nine children lived to adulthood. My grandfather had a bath house at the peninsula. The oldest boy was named Frederick.
This is all I know so far. There might be a relationship and that is why my grandfather came to Erie.
