Hi Diana,

Thank you for responding to my query about Elizabeth Fratt. I would bet they are from the same family as it is an unusual name. My g-grandad Nicholas Clute said that Jacob Fratt was German; however, they were in a Holland Dutch Community. The Clute's had originated in Albany also and Watervliet is not very far from Albany. I think it is in Albany County. Now I am suprised as I did not know that the Fratt's came into New York State so early. I will try to find some books in the 1740's and will let you know if I find any more Fratt's in that time frame.
