Seeking Info on JOHN and ANN FRAWLEY
I just got back from three days in Salt Lake and for found some new info that I HOPE will tie me to others and maybe help others as well.
In the 1870 Census I found my Frawley line.
It sure seems like a lot of these Frawleys have to be connected in some way.Mine follow the naming patterns of the time fairly well (I think) and if they REALLY did then Thomas would be my John's Father.
Here is my info from the 1870 census.I don't have them IN Ireland....YET :-)
1870 Census - St. Croix Co. Erin City
FRAWLEY
JOHN - Age 40, born in Ireland (abt. 1830)
ANN - Age 34, born in Ireland (abt. 1836 - Note:Ann was Ann McCarty but I don't know anything about her beyond that other than she had a brother Jerimiah)
HANNAH - Age 16, born in Illinois (abt. 1854)
(Note: Not in 1880 - Probably married)
THOMAS - Age 14, born in Illinois (abt. 1858)
(Note: Married in 1880 to Ellen Gowan, this is the FRAWLEY that had John Charles, who had my father, John)
JOHN - Age 12, born in Wisconsin (abt. 1858)
(Note: In 1880 living with neighbor)
PATRICK - Age 9, born in Wisconsin (abt. 1861)
(Note: In 1880 living with neighbor)
JULIA - Age 7, born in Wisconsin (abt. 1863)
JANE - Age 4, Born in Wisconsin (abt.1866)
(Note: Completely missing from 1880 - possibily deceased?)
CHARLES - Age 2, Born in Wisconsin (abt. 1868)
MARY - Age 9 months, Born in Wisconsin (abt. 1869)
WILLIAM was added to the family between 1870 and 1880
I can't find Ann or John in the 1900 census but haven't done a complete search.Maybe they were dead by then?
Any connections? If you have some, please email me with details :-)I am more than happy to share all I have with others.
Chris
