Yes I'd love to know more about Ed. I collect all Frays ... my addictive habit !
I'm afraid I don't know anything about the Kirkmans. You might try ancestry.co.uk with details Kirkman, Lancs born before 1830. If you don't specify which census year you want it is possible to extract the census roll and 'pid' from the 'view image' and then sort by roll and what seems to be a unique person id no. Comparing with the censuses I already had this groups housholds! Trouble is you will have to page through the details for all other census years before you get to the 1841 details you want to copy into Word (or whatever). The alternative if you find a likley Mary the conventional way is to subscribe and view the page.
