This is a work e-mail address so though I had seen your entry I had to go home to look up details. I have a copy of the research done by George Fray of Keynsham. He was in contact with both my father and uncle although we are not related. I cannot find your father on Georges tree..... but I looked in my indexes of birth deaths and marriages. The reference for your fathers birth is 1905 Jun Cricklade 5a 53. I looked back at the marriages prior to this for people in the same approximate area that I haven't already accounted for. My best guess is that your grandfather was Albert Edward whose birh was registered in Bath 1882. I don't know where he fits in but there were large family groups in Tisbury and Devon as well as George's Keynsham crowd.
Have you heard of an 'Albert' before??
Your parents marriage certificate would have both your grandfather's names on it. The reference for this is 1934 Sep Swindon 5a 20.
I am going up to London either 18 Nov or 25 Nov to do some research, so I'll look out for any evidence for you.
If you e-mail me gfray@csc.com I'll give you my phone number so you can let me know if you would like me to get a certificate for you while I'm up in London. (I only go 3 times a year)
