Melinda Frazell was the daughter of Apollos Darby and Roxana L. Frazell, from Licking County, Ohio.

•On 10 DEC 1823 was born Melinda Frazell, their third daughter.
• A visit to the cemetery where Roxana was buried, in Johnstown, Licking County, Ohio, produced a surprise, however: a headstone reads that on 20 DEC 1823 died Earl Frazell, a twin, at the age of 10 days old.
•Melinda was Earl Frazell’s twin sister.
•They were named after Apollos’s parents, Earl and Mylinda.
•Melinda married Emanuel Ulry in about 1840.
•By 1850, they appeared on the census in Burton, Adams County, Illinois.
•She had a son, Lewis. She also had a daughter, Lucetta, who married Adam Cormany in 1859. They also lived in Richfield, Adams County, Illinois.
       •She died before 1856.
