Bev, I'm related thru Amelias brother Hiram Cronise/Cronice Fraker b1847 MD and died Shelby Co, IL 1933 CO. In 1994 our family did a 80 page report on most all of the relations I'll list (some info is newer). This report in part is at the Shelby Co, IL resorce center (the ol'jail). Andrew Fraker b1809 Franklin Co, PA and Catherine Cronise/Cronice Fraker b1813 married May 28, 1833 and had the following children (all born Sharpsburg MD)
(new) Anabellah b1832 died as infant and burried in Meth. cem. Sharpsburg, MD., headstone remains readable
(new) Ann b1833 married Ben Mose Sept 7 1854 died 1887 at Shelbyville
Amelia bDec 22, 1834 died 1876
Flavious Joshephus (Joe) born Aug 1, 1836 died 1904
Mary Jane bMar 11,1838 died 1915
Susan E. bNov 1841 died 1868
Eliza B. b1842
Laura b1843
Hiram Cronise/Cronice b1847 died1933 CO
Benjamin F b1851 died CO
Fanny M b1854 died 1895
Well that's the run down and some info. Altho, Andrew Frakers parents were J. Philip Fraker/Fanny Piper married 1805 Path Valley, PA----J. Philip was born 1779 and his parents were Andrew/Mary Fraker (Andrew was born ~1730-40~ in German speeking comunity/wrote in poor German hand as did son J Philip).
Over the years I've helped others and together researched to find my own ancestors. Some Fraker lines have been reseraching for over 4 generations now, since 1905. I've managed to collect all info on in-laws of my group and some in-laws of other Fraker lines in the USA. Part of what I've been involved in is posted on the Fraker and other boards. I'm not much on doucumenting things for anyone and leave that to related. I think my findings are about 95% correct. I've got books full and a couple file cabnets full of old infomation on Fraker. Current research includes the first few children of Michael b1769 if a passer by happens to find this posting (I tend to not research Michael b1747 as a lot of work is found on line nowdays). But I will pose a thought Andrew b ~1740~ known to be in PA and German speaking (proven) and Michael b1747 known to be in PA and German speaking (proven) could be related???? This would more than likely connect about half the Frakers in the USA to one family group. I've heard DNA testing would be around $25 a head.
