First of all after re-reading my entry I have to correct the fact that my greatfather Mose became a citizen on JUNE 14 1850 in Brown county which is in Wisconsin.
Moses Sr.'s parents were Charles and Ursule(Girouard)Frechette. He was born in Quebec Dec 10 1824.
Moses Sr. was married to Marie LeClair (Nokishiki Her parents were Mawsawquot(father)pronounced mushSHAWquit and Poway (mother)pronounced POEway(Menominee names- today these wouldn't be spelled as it was then)
His children were Marie, Emily, MaryAnn, Moses Jr, Joseph, Isaac,Elizabeth Francis, Rosalie, Carl, Arthur, Louis, Charles and another child Jane.
Of these, Mose Jr, Charles and Jane(Dave Waupoose)were the children that resided on the Menominee Reservation, and these three families are the ones I am familiar with.Your parent's names are not familiar to me.You"ll have to go through Mike for your background.
