Lew, I've been out of town so didn't see this until today. It is likely that those names might have been used, but not in Franklin Co. or any counties nearby where I've traced my Fred line. I do have a cousin whose grandfather added an 's' to Fread and pronounced it Freeds. Are you related to any Fread on my site?
