Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

There are 63 pages of the descendants of Rebecca Belveal and Jacob Fred in the 1999 update to the book Jean Belleville the Huguenot his Descendants, compilked by Ivan Andrews and the Belville cousins. The first book of that title was published about 25 years or so ago by Paul Belville Taylor (deceased).

The Belville (and alternate spellings) were French Protestants who fled the religious persecutions in France and came to Staten Island, to the Dutch settlements.

The book includes all of your families, including you and your children. Your birth date, and that of your sister Chrystal, are not given, but the rest of your siblings have birth dates included in the book.

Fred is not my line of the Belleville descendants. I will not be checking this forum again. If I can be of help, contact me at my e mail address:

Happy Hunting,
Velda
