Hi Carrie --
This is probably a long shot, but since you are looking for FREDRICK in Ohio, thought I'd ask -- I'm looking for info on James H. Fredrick. Family stories passed down said that he was one of 9 sons of Thomas Fredrick & Julia Connet.
These sons were probably all born in sometime between 1840 - 1860; and in the 1860's, we think they were living in Mt. Vernon, Knox County, Ohio. I haven't found them on a census yet. You didn't mention any dates on the Fredrick family you are looking for. Perhaps your David Fredrick was one of these 9 sons?
Good luck on your search - please keep in touch if you find out anything more about Fredrick families in Ohio.
Thanks --
Joan
