I'm looking for any information anyone might have on Lydia Ellen Freeland (b. 1839, d. 1886). She was married to Adam Nelson Smith and they lived (at least for a time) in Oakland Township, Brant, Ontario, Canada. I've found several internment entries for various Freelands in Brant County, including one Andrew Freeland whom I suspect might be a relation to Lydia based on a letter written from a great aunt to my great grandfather. Andrew was born in 1859 and was too young to a brother, but could have been perhaps a nephew. I found a John N. Freeland and Elnor Freeland buried in the same cemetery, who MAY have been Andrew's parents.
If anyone could help with information on this line of Freelands, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
