Maria Freeland m. William Thompson, 1800's West Milford, New Jersey

I am interested in The William Thompson family of West Milford, New Jersey in the 1880's. William's wife was Maria nee: Freeland and they had at least one child, a girl named Hattie C. Thompson.

Hattie married Dr. Charles H. Archer on 10/18/1881 and they had a daughter named Mabel who was born in 1882.

My quest is for the burial place of Dr. Archer who died 1/28/1882 at Jersey City, NJ. He was buried somewhere in West Milford according to his death certificate which does not name a cemetery. His wife Hattie re-married and is buried with her second husband in Warren County, NJ.

Hattie's parents William and Maria are buried in the Cedar Heights Cemetery in West Milford, but as of today there is no indication that Dr. Archer is there also.

I am not related to the Thompson's or Dr. Archer.

Bob
