Edwin A. Freeman, Wisconsin Civil War Soldier & wife, Fanny.
I am one of a group working on an official history of the Wisconsin 23rd Regiment . One of our men is Edwin A. Freeman b. c. 1828, d. before 25 May 1866 when his wife, Fanny, applied for Widow's pension. He enlisted 8 Aug 1862 at Mazomanie, Dane Co. WI. He was absent, sick on M.O. of Co. on 4 Jul 1865. He & Fannie had 8 children b. between 1851 and 1862.
