My 4th great grandmother was Sarah (Polly) Freeman.b abt 1773 in Chowan Co.,NC and d on Aug.10,1849 at 76 yrs old in Alamance Co., NC.She was married to Miles Wallace son of John Wallace of Chowan Co.,NC .
I have not been able to connect Sarah Freeman Wallace with her father and mother.
My Wallace and Freeman family go back to :
1-John Freeman b abt 1650 d bet. 1710-1711
He was a adm. of the estate of _William Wallace_ and guardianship of Hannah Wallace age 6. Hannah was handed over to Andrew Taylor due to the death of of John and Hannah Freeman.

son--William Freeman b. abt 1680 d-1736 wife Mary Cording.They were in Chowan Co.,NC 1725(per deed)

William Freeman-Bertie Co.,NC Sep 22,1733
received grant 640 a west side Cypress Swamp
Wit:John Parker, _Thomas Wallace_( 6-great grandfather).

William Freeman-Will Chowan co.,NC Feb 7,1736 proven Aug 15 1736.
Wit: Walter Doughan,John Freeman Jr.and Thomas Roundtree(7 great grandfather)
John Freeman-m Tabitha Hoyter abt 1733 Indian
John Freeman of Chowan co.,NC wife Tabitha sold 1/2 of land to Thomas Freeman on Aug 8 1737.
Richard Talent
Thomas Roundtree Sr--(7 great grandfather)
Thomas Roundtree's daughter Elizabeth married Thomas Wallace my grandparents.

I know I must be kin to one of these Freeman lines .
What I thought is that someone out there might have a extra Sarah(Polly) Freeman that they need to place with someone
She has driven me crazy for years!!!
