all i have is word of mouth from a decendant of james freeman and celia daniel, that is enrolled in the waccamaw-siuan tribe in bladen co. she said that all her family were indian. no paticular tribe but were decended from siouan-iriquios and algonquin nations.some of the indians from this area were thought to be decendants from the lost colony.i do know that precilla freeman fallowed her father as chief of the lumbee tribe in bolton n.c. for several years.my father and brother were able to hunt on the land.i guess because of our kin.i talked to someone over the enrollment and was told that you had to be a member to come on to the reservation at any time other than the anuall pow pow.
