William Henry Freemantle (13 Oct 1844)
Posted by: Garth Baillie (ID *****7393) Date: May 13, 2003 at 19:56:01
  of 79

I recently ordered the birth certificate of my g g grandfather (William Henry Freemantle) from the GRO.
Unfortunately I can't make out the maiden name of his mother. It looks like it could be Pranhand, Prankard or Prashard. Her first name was Elizabeth.
His father's name was James.
WHF was born in Saint Mary Extra in Southampton on 13 October 1844.

There were three males born in Saint Mary Extra at about the same time that could've been his brothers ie. James (born in 1839), George (born in 1843) and Thomas (born in 1841). Can anybody confirm this?

Your help would be appreciated.
