I presume you have checked for the baptism through the Hampshire Record Office at Winchester. Asuming you have and didn't find him, we have a Samuel Freemantle baptised 19 Feb 1777 in All Saints, Headley, NR Bordon, Hants. His parents were Richard and Ann Freemantle and both were buried at Headley.

There are no further records for Samuel at Headley and we don't know where he went to. He had a brother William who lived at Arlseford, Hants for a while before marrying an Ann Lewis at St Mary's, Portsea on 1 Jan 1803. He also had and elder sister and brother, Helena and Richard. He may have had an elder sister Ann who was not baptised at Headley but is thought to have been baptised at Stephney St Mary, Whitechapel.
