Hi Nancy,I have had no luck in finding J.F do you have any other info on him ,Did he emigrate and if so about what year?There are a few possibilities regarding "SAXONY"there are two SAXEBY's and a few other places beginning SAX.I have searched the 1881 census and no J.F,quite a few Johns -A couple in the Lincolnshire area where 1 Saxeby is situated.Unfortunately word of moth from relatives can be fairly!!! innacurate.
