The first Frenette who came to Canada (Michel Fernet) from Ste-Marguerite-de-l'Autel in Normandie had three sons. Your daughter ancestor was Pierre the third son. My ancestor is Michel the second son.

I work on the genealogy of the Frenette family for the last 25 years with more research for the last 10 years. I have now a database that included, I estimate, around 90% of the Frenette who live up to 1911 (when I verify with the census data of both Canada and US). Still always find new trend and information like yours.

As for the Death Certificate and the Marriage Certificate, yes you can send me these documents. My eMail address is Also if you can have access the church records, it may be very useful. I know that Notre Dame de Chicago church was a French Canadian church so the records are very often in french for this period but I can translate for you.
