Hello,
I am an acadian, born in Petit-Rocher, New-Brunswick. My mom was a Frenette even before she married my dad who was a Frenette too. So I know that it is an acadian name. I now live in Montreal but the next time I go back to Petit-Rocher, I'll grab the genealogy book that my mom has on the Frenette's family name.
